The Girl Behind The Blog

I’m a twenty something, mom, wife, occasional blogger, and word lover. This is where I stash the thoughts that crowd my ridiculous and overcrowded mind. I get random, poetic, political, personal, critical, and sometimes I even crack a joke. Stay tuned.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Holy cow patties! O.o I stumbled on your blog by doing a Google investigation on lithopeadon (sp?) / stone babies! Mind blown, I totally coulda wrote that very same article – and had the same thought process! Before I knew it I read about 6 entries – bad dreams, you’re a pagan (ooh creepy (bc it’s unknown & I’m a Christian) yet fascinating), grandma haunting – then FEELING her in (my mama, not your nany, that’d just be…super weird, eh?) My dreams – yet being unable to verbalize nor describe the phenom! And… Not just nightmares. But full on, I have to sleep alone sometimes, night terrors. Those demonic kind. Those sticky kinds you can’t shake off. The smell of fear & mixture of sweat & taste of salt that stays in your nostrils..all…day.

I just have to say – wow. I like your thought pattern, and writing style. Thanks for your blog & hooray I’m not nearly (or Perhaps I am, I’ve just not owned it yet :D) as off kilter as I believe I am.

How small the world is, just for a moment – and you find an odd comfort/ familiarity pondering someone else’s thoughts – that seem so very parallel to your own. Truly. Thanks… And. I still crumble w missing my mama. I pray you stumble less in your missing of your nany.
